Camille Larrea brings nearly a decade of experience to her dance and theater classes. While living in Chicago, Camille developed an after school bilingual arts enrichment program for the Chicago Public School System. She had also designed and implemented a drama program for the YMCA summer camps.
In Camille's classes, students are exposed to the fundamentals of theater. Instruction in voice, dance and acting offer kids the best opportunity in well rounded training. Students learn the fundamentals of voice training, including breathing, articulation and breath support. Also in class, students are introduced to the types of dance (jazz, tap and ballet) commonly used in musical theater. They are also given an opportunity to sing and express themselves in a safe and supportive environment. Camille also teaches hip-hop classes to youth (ages 8-9).
As a single mother, Camille strongly believes in education in the arts. She is committed to improving the self esteem and confidence of children by developing their performing arts skills.
"As an instructor, I will create an opportunity for children to discover their full artistic potential through a series of fun interactive classes involving dance, theater and performance."
