Summer 2000 and 2001: Director of YMCA Summer Camp Drama Programs - Western Chicago Area. Created and taught acting programs involving theater games, improvisation and character study (ages 7-12)
Taught Children's Acting and Scene Study Class - Performing Arts Limited, Chicago (ages 7-12).
Dance instructor: Jazz and Hip Hop - Le Ballet Petit Academy, Chicago (youth ages 12-18).
Created and implemented an after school program for the Chicago Public Schools targeting young Hispanic children. These acting workshops entitled "Clases para los jovenes" addressed Latino issues and stressed the importance of historical role models in the Latino culture.
Conceptualized, produced and directed Exodus 20/20, a play with music created through the improvisational work of children. The play was performed after an eight week acting enrichment program for the children. The classes involved key historical characters in the Jewish culture and taught the children more about their Jewish heritage.
Directed and choreographed several dance classes and recitals with small children ages 3 through 6 consisting of tap and ballet, Helen's School of Dance, Chicago.
Taught in the Kid's after school program entitled Kids Acting Out (ages 8-12). The program involved theater games, movenment and performance technique. Los Angeles, CA.
Taught and performed in various outreach programs and plays in the Los Angeles area for Elementary, Middle and High schools. Also worked in many bilingual musical productions as well (English and Spanish).
